Vexed question: a difficult question that causes much discussion
As we have such an outdoor brief if you like, designing for people that are mobile, and out on the streets. We are not designing dressing gowns that people are sitting around in.
The nature of that demands that we use high performance cloth that can last and be durable and can cope with all those outdoor things that are thrown on you, whether it is the weather, or an uncivil civilian... we are trying to make clothes that will stand the test of time, including the styling.
With our garments, and as a philosophy, we go against the main stream of production where the products are designed to last a determined period of time through concepts of cheapness and disposability. we are fundamentally against that and thatıs why our garments are intended to endure keeping their qualities. Weıd like to think of our garments going into second hand shops and yet, being in perfect shape..
How did you get into fashion?
