The S/LAB Support Half Tight is the close-fitting base of Salomon’s modular trail system. Agustín Hernández Navarro is a Mexican sculptor and architect born in Mexico City. He is the son of politician Lamberto Hernández and Amalia Navarro and studied at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Leading exponent of “emotional” architecture in his country, Hernandez has fused elements from Mexico’s Pre-columbian past in his contemporary architecture. He usually starts by designing the vertical elements of a building, such as the stairs, as he feels these are of much importance. As organic nature, his architecture unites structure, form, and function.
The women’s S/LAB EXO Tank treats support as a mapped structure. A polyurethane EXO Sensifit grid braces the upper chest, shoulders and spine, while Smart Skin places Actilite Pro jersey through the core and open stretch mesh at the heat zones. The skin fit keeps the grid engaged; flatlock seams and reflective marks finish the racing layer without adding bulk.

The Spring 2012 collection from GYAKUSOU, the innovative running wear line by Jun Takahashi, designer for Nike and Undercover, will begin delivery on Saturday, March 3rd. This collection features items that shine with even greater functionality than before, including freedom of movement, comfort, and storage. The color scheme, a key element of GYAKUSOU, incorporates deep hues such as gray, green, and blue that blend in with both natural and urban landscapes, as well as accent burgundy red. Furthermore, continuing from the previous collection, the use of heather gray material, often seen in menswear, creates a unique world view that fuses various elements. Pay attention to the design, which has found a new value as one-of-a-kind running wear, and look forward to its delivery. Jun Takahashi's early Gyakusou line translated Nike running into an UNDERCOVER register: muted technical layers, reflective strike points, and a night-run palette that moved between trail and street.
Gyakusou is Nike Running's collaboration with Jun Takahashi of Undercover, named for the Japanese word for running a course in reverse. Details from the Spring/Summer 2011 jacket: a lightweight ripstop shell in white, grey and red, with a large perforated mesh panel across the back and shoulders for ventilation, bonded and taped seams, a stowable hood, and reflective Gyakusou branding at the shoulder. The vent openings are backed with mesh; the hem and cuffs are elasticated ripstop.
