Full-length side zips enable quick on/off over boots and allow adjustable ventilation. Fit is stabilized with an elasticized, adjustable nylon web waist and suspender loops for optional suspenders. Cargo pockets provide storage for hats, gloves, and small accessories. PFAS Warning: made with PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) chemicals.

ARC’TERYX LEAF Assault Pant AR Men’s – MultiCam (Gen2) is a durable, mission-focused field pant designed for mobility, load carriage, and compatibility with boots and protective equipment. The articulated build combines a gusseted crotch for unrestricted movement with an internal knee-cap sleeve that accepts removable soft knee pads or LEAF knee caps (sold separately). Velcro® ankle cuff closures seal over boots to reduce snagging and debris entry. Storage is optimized for work in vehicles and with PPE: hand pockets include an internal folding-knife pocket, expandable cargo flap pockets provide dump-pocket capacity, elongated drop-in seat pockets handle longer items, and thigh pockets are positioned for access when seated, harnessed, or wearing kit.
Materials include NYCO Ripstop Cordura® 6.5 oz (50% nylon / 50% cotton) for balanced abrasion resistance and breathability, plus UFP EV®50 10 mm removable foam knee pads for impact protection.

Nike x Undercover Gyakusou SS2011 Details
Gyakusou is Nike Running's collaboration with Jun Takahashi of Undercover, named for the Japanese word for running a course in reverse. Details from the Spring/Summer 2011 jacket: a lightweight ripstop shell in white, grey and red, with a large perforated mesh panel across the back and shoulders for ventilation, bonded and taped seams, a stowable hood, and reflective Gyakusou branding at the shoulder. The vent openings are backed with mesh; the hem and cuffs are elasticated ripstop.

the grove pavillion
the grove pavilion is located at the center of the arced walkway where it briefly touches upon land, between the constantly texture of the water and matured trees. barbeques and public space provide recreational services to visitors within a subdued black structure that frames the colorful surrounding landscape. continuing eastward down the walkway leads to the wilkinson’s point pavilion born from an existing concrete pad built in the mid 20th century as the foundation for an unrealized bridge. the pavilion, a series of intersecting planes exhibiting various degrees of transparency and filtering of views and colors, cantilevers out over the water framing the site and a large open-air pad capable of hosting large scale events. massive concrete walls support a floating canopy containing an expansive red glass wall and a yellow skylight towards the cantilevered portion. the architecture adopts a simple form, poetic and restrained in the landscape, an experience heightened by its relative isolation from any other man-made developments.

The SUBSECTION SERIES is a fragrance collection by Visvim, inspired by founder Hiroki Nakamura’s encounter with French fragrance designer Blaise Mautin over 20 years ago. The series includes candles, room sprays, and diffusers, each available in various scents. Notable fragrances are NO.1 F.I.L., a blend featuring patchouli and sandalwood, and NO.7 KYOTO, inspired by a morning visit to Kyoto’s Sanjusangendo temple.

SENSE magazine’s seasonal “TEXT in visvim” editorial brings to our attention many of the upcoming pieces from the designer’s 2012 spring/summer “Dissertation on Introspection” collection. The popular natural indigo and Amami-Oshima mud techniques are amongst the unique dyeing methods used this season. Material-wise, Egyptian Giza and LUXSIC cotton have been chosen as the base for the corduroy and denim items, with KONBU, Belgium cowhide leather and Cordura Ballistic nylon used to create this season’s range of bags.
